Faclon III is not just another high-end airborne LIDAR sensor system, Falcon III is a new and unique approach for high precision LIDAR scanning.
Falcon III follows the guidelines of electronic distance measurement (EDM) as no other sensor currently available at the market does. Highest data quality combined with outstanding production efficiency is obtained due to the fiber based concept, a wide laser beam, the highest available effective measurement rate of 125 kHz and a fast and sensitive echo detection.
Falcon III is designed for applications which require high density and highly reliable elevation models such as 3D city models and city planning, forest inventory, hydraulic simulations, flood protection and corridor mapping.

Hire of the LIDAR

For customers wishing to test the Falcon III before purchase, TopoSys offers daily, weekly or monthly hire of the system. This enables the customer to use the Falcon in a LIDAR project and to satisfy himself of the system’s performance before purchase. Rental fees for such test projects are taken into account at purchase after the test.
